Fashion is…
“Fashion is a powerful tool of communication” quoted Nina Garcia, Editor of Elle Magazine. I couldn’t agree with her more. Fashion is not just something you wear, but its about expressing an idea. Fashion Week is all about self-expression. Whether you are in one of the “Big 4” (New York, London, Milan, and Paris) or not, many fashionistas take this time to pull out all the works. Â

Have you seen the tv series Grownish yet? I knew I liked Yara Shahidi prior to, but afterwards she became someone to watch. At only 18 she has become one of my fashion favorites. During an interview with InStyle, she describes Fashion Week to be “a wonderful time to celebrate creativity.”

As this month progresses, fashion will be taking over the streets and sidewalks of the “Big 4” for Fashion Week. Although I will not be participating physically in the festivities of Fashion Week I will be waiting patiently to grasp the styles through the lenses of rising photographers as they share their skills. I did a little research for the both of us, check out this month’s schedule:
